Bell Therapeutics (CEO: Jae Eun Lee) announced on the 4th that it has been selected for the “Startup Commercialization” and “Global Marketing” tracks of the TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startups) initiative operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

TIPS is Korea’s flagship technology startup acceleration program, jointly run by private investment firms and the government, designed to identify and support promising technology-based startups.

Bell Therapeutics is a neuroscience-based digital healthcare startup developing digital therapeutics for a range of neurological and sensory disorders, including insomnia and auditory rehabilitation. Through this selection, the company has secured up to KRW 300 million in commercialization funding and plans to accelerate its entry into both domestic and international markets.

Founded in March 2023, Bell Therapeutics was selected for a Deep Tech TIPS R&D project in October last year. Earlier this year, the company also obtained European medical device certification (CE MDR) and was designated as an Innovative Medical Device by Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

CEO Jae Eun Lee stated, “This year, we are actively pursuing the establishment of a U.S. subsidiary and international collaborative R&D projects,” adding, “This funding will serve as a major catalyst for our full-scale entry into the U.S. market starting next year.”
