The digital therapeutics (DTx) startup Bell Therapeutics announced on the 17th that it has been officially selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' private investment-led tech startup support program, "Deep Tech TIPS."
The Deep Tech TIPS program, a key project of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, identifies and fosters promising startups in ten critical fields. Selected companies receive up to KRW 1.7 billion, including KRW 1.5 billion for R&D, commercialization, and international marketing. Bell Therapeutics, having received investment from Naver's venture capital arm Spring Camp in June, was selected for support in the bio-health sector, thanks to Spring Camp’s recommendation.
Bell Therapeutics is developing digital therapeutics (DTx) for insomnia and cochlear rehabilitation. The company’s selection for the Deep Tech TIPS program focuses on advancing its DTx for insomnia. Unlike traditional cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)-based DTx, this next-generation technology improves insomnia symptoms by collecting biometric signals and providing real-time audio feedback, which has received high evaluations for its innovative approach.
Jae-eun Lee, CEO of Bell Therapeutics, stated, “Our selection for the Deep Tech TIPS program will significantly aid in realizing our R&D vision and objectives. We aim to strengthen our competitiveness in the global market through continuous innovation and growth.”
