Bell Therapeutics (CEO Jae Eun Lee) announced on the 17th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hana Hearing (CEO Dong Hoon Kang), a leading hearing aid specialist chain in Korea, to jointly develop and research a hearing rehabilitation app for hearing aid users.

Through this partnership, the company will provide neuroscience-based auditory rehabilitation technology to Hana Hearing customers, expanding its service coverage beyond cochlear implant patients to also include those using hearing aids.

Previously, Bell Therapeutics demonstrated its expertise by participating in the research consortium ECHOH—together with KIST, Samsung Medical Center, Boston University, and the University of Iowa—focused on improving hearing loss and cognitive health by integrating neuroscience with auditory rehabilitation.

CEO Dong Hoon Kang stated, “The true value of this collaboration lies not only in providing hearing aids but also in offering an app that supports the entire rehabilitation process for individuals with hearing loss. We will continue to pursue innovative research and partnerships aimed at fundamentally improving auditory perception for those whose conditions cannot be resolved by devices alone.”

CEO Jae Eun Lee added, “This collaboration enables us to bring hearing rehabilitation technology to hearing aid users as well. Together with Hana Hearing, we aim to establish new and broader standards for auditory rehabilitation going forward.”
